Get off the treadmill and learn the science and art of writing persuasive proposals

WHY?

You’re a researcher with passion and dedication. But sometimes, navigating the maze of grant rejections, resubmissions and time spent on proposals can be exhausting. We get it. Through 13 years of working with clients on getting their proposals funded, we’ve developed the expertise to help you uncover the roadmap to funding success.

WHAT?

The Grant Foundry is a small, hands-on, group-mentored, intensive course designed to help you write your best proposal. Learn the strategies and writing frameworks used by successful grant writers, then apply these directly to your proposal, and get feedback along the way from expert academic coaches.

In the competitive NIH and NSF grant space, the bar for standing out from the crowd is high. It’s become more important than ever to have absolute clarity about what problem your work solves for your community - and be able to communicate this effectively to your reviewer. Grant Foundry provides a clear system to help you achieve that absolute clarity, along with strong writing and a focused message. If you are tired of constantly writing, tweaking and resubmitting failed proposals, maybe it’s time to really get this “grant writing” thing down. The next round of Grant Foundry runs November 2023 - January 2024.

Testimonials

“Grant Foundry is the single most effective source I have found for providing useful feedback and clear direction on improving grant writing”. DiAnna Hynds, Texas Woman's University

“This program helped me understand the grant writing process and the factors involved. A key aspect of the program was the opportunities to interact with the instructor and participants. At the end of the program, I found a direction I could follow”. -- Tozammel Hossain, Assistant Professor, University of North Texas

“...it is totally true that my last R01 was the easiest grant I have ever written and it was fun. Clarity changed the grant from work to flow. It took me 3 months to lock in the specific aims but then The grant just kind of flowed out of me so easily. I actually enjoyed it!” Lisann Gittner
